About this archive
This domain carried a chest-imaging teaching collection: weekly cases with a patient history, a diagnostic question, a worked answer with a differential diagnosis and a discussion, together with the radiographs that illustrated them. The collection went offline when the site was retired.
This archive reproduces those cases — history, question, imaging findings, diagnosis, differential, discussion and reading list — at the addresses they originally occupied, so that references made to them elsewhere still lead to the case they cite. The work is that of its authors at Virginia Commonwealth University and is attributed to them on every page.
What is left out: the lists of readers who submitted answers to each weekly case. Those were participants in a quiz, not authors of the material, and their names and countries serve no purpose here.
This site is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by Virginia Commonwealth University or VCU Health. The cases are historical teaching material, in places more than fifteen years old, and nothing here is medical advice.
